Practice Philosophy
First, I believe that Jesus Christ is the ultimate healer. I am only His instrument. I rely on His guidance with my patients. No discipline of medicine has all of the answers. I practice what I would call integrative medicine. I incorporate conventional/allopathic medicine with nutrional/ bioidentical supplementation, herbal medicine, and other disciplines such as chiropractic, massage, etc. I believe that if each discipline worked with each other we would be a lot better off and healthier. Basically, if something works and doesn't cause harm, I'm all for it! I believe I offer a very well rounded and comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment. My 20+ years of practicing internal and critical care medicine give me the ability to discern when allopathic, conventional medicine is necessary and appropriate, yet I can provide an integrative approach to disease management that emphasizes detoxification and helping the body to heal in the most natural way as possible.
Personal
I'm married to John T. Viglione who is a pilot with FedEx. I have four children who keep me very busy. My interests outside of medicine are music, athletics, water sports, and traveling with my family.
